Another way I’ve been keeping myself active is self portraits. I’m certainly not a fan of being in front of the camera, nor do I really need more photos of myself, but as a photographer I think it’s important to remind yourself what it feels like to be on the other side of lens.
It’s tough for me to just be like “ok, I’ll do self portraits today” so I came up with a reason to make myself more motived to do it. One of my personal goals this year was to wear more hats, physically speaking. I have a handful of them but wear each one maybe once or twice a year? I more specifically wanted to wear my fedoras more often because, to be totally honest, I think a fedora is a hard look for most people to pull off and I feel I do it well. So, I decided to model two of three of my fedoras for these self portraits. 🙂

Straw Fedora: was my grandfather’s. But Gigi Pip also has some rad straw fedoras.
