As a photographer with a moodier and darker tone, I don’t get overly excited about capturing bright, vivid colors. Needless to say, when I heard Pantone’s color of the year is Living Coral, I wasn’t jumping up and down about it. I did, however, see this is an opportunity to challenge myself: mix my moody vibe with this glowing hue. To add to the challenge, I decided to include actual coral as well: Living Coral Reef Styled Wedding.
Pairing the color of the year with darker tones, hunter green and eminence purple, and a lot of neutral hues (white, cream and beige) helped tame it; making it more accessible to brides who like to keep things mature and modern with a more jewel toned color palette.
