My first styled shoot of 2018 and my second one ever!

Some info if you’re confused: A styled wedding, in short, is a fake wedding. Styled shoots are good for portfolio building for those starting out and also good to get photos of the kind of weddings you’d like to attract. If a photographer loves shooting barn weddings but they only have church weddings on their website, obviously they’ll be attracting more church weddings and not the rustic brides they’d like to work with as well.

I’m pretty picky about the styled weddings I participate in; hints why this is only my second one. I loved the color scheme the organizer put together for this one and bought a ticket almost as soon as they became available. Kaylee put together an incredible team of vendors for this and I was able to capture some pretty stellar images.
