I don’t think I’ve ever photographed a wedding where every detail had a purpose and reason it was used. Nothing was used because Amanda or Laith liked it or thought it was pretty. Literally everything had symbolism and represented something in their lives. She didn’t pick any plaid to wear as a shawl; she picked her family tartan. Amanda wore moccasins not because they warm and cozy, but because she has a descent Native American ancestors.
Although I’m sure it was time consuming, it was worth it. All these small details really personalized their whole wedding; not just the reception.
Congrats again to Amanda & Laith! These two were truly meant for each other!
