I’m still surprised when I actually book a client from The Knot’s website. I have a free account with them which only allows me to put my business name there, an email, a website url and my price range. That’s it. No photos examples, no about me section, nothing. So I’m not even sure what attracts people to click on my barren Knot page and actually contact me. But I’m so glad Amanda did!
We scheduled engagement photos for the beginning of Sept because they still wanted some greenery in their photos. But, the last few remnants of Hurricane Irma decided to spoil those plans. No big deal. We just rescheduled.
I will say Amanda did say one of the nicest things about my work I think I’ve heard to date. I asked them how the wedding planning was coming along and Kyle laughed a little and so did Amanda. Amanda said it was coming along pretty well. Kyle agreed saying “Surprisingly yes considering how indecisive Amanda is”. I laughed and said she probably had a heck of time narrowing down the photographers she wanted to use; there are a lot of us out there. But no. Amanda said, “Well actually, I clicked on your Knot page first and then hopped over to your website and really liked your work so I just stopped looking.”
DAY. MADE.
