Jonathan + Miranda

Jonathan & Miranda’s wedding was not the first wedding I had booked for their date. I had booked it back in October with another couple; 3 months before J & M ever contacted me. However, a few weeks after booking me, I got the ol’ “We’ve decided to go in a different direction style wise.” “It’s not you, it’s me” speech. While it was a kick in the gut, because who likes getting fired, I’m glad they discovered what they wanted before it was too late. I understand my style and overall vibe isn’t for everyone; and it’s important to me you find the right photographer for you – even if it’s not me.
However, things worked out. 🙂
Miranda contacted me in January and after a consultation at 3rd Turn Brewing, a few beers and Miranda talking about how much she LOVES sloths, I ended up getting to spend my Saturday with them instead. And I couldn’t be happier! J & M are fantastic human beings and beyond adorable. The day was not short on laughs, smiles & jokes.
